Week Fifteen - Diary

This week I finished Question 2 for my evaluation; in this question I discussed how my magazine reprsents different social groups. Therefore, I explained how incorportaed articles about gigs and festivals therefore directing a particular social group I also discussed how the way my model was syled reflected the indie/rock social group e.g. the clothes she was wearing, her naturalistic make up etc. Also in this week I made some improvements to my frontcover from the comments I got from other people in my class.

Comments/Feedback for magazine

After I finished the first draft of my music magazine I got feedback from other students in my class which included the positives of each page in my magazine and the possible improvements that I can make. Below I create a PowerPoint including these comments and discuss whether I will change the improvements or not.

Week Thirteen - Diary

This week I began completing question one of the evaluation of my music magazine. In question one I disuss how my magazine fits into the typical conventions of a music magazine and my reasons for doing so. As a result, I went through each page of my magazine and discussed this e.g. I have seperated my contents page into sections which makes it easier for my reader to navigate to their desired page - this is also a typical convention of music magazine therefore, this makes my magazine more professional. I also discussed the different shots I have used throughout my magazine and how this could potentially diffentiate my magazine from other magazines in the market.
